105th China Import and Export Fair
The 105th China Import and Export Fair, widely known as the "Canton Fair" and seen as an indicator of current trends in foreign trading, opened on April 15. The first phase has just completed on April 19th. The data shows the global crisis have cut the number of companies attending the 105th China Import and Export Fair, and, thus sales at the first phase have declined 20.8% from the same phase of the 104th session last October. In spite of overall decline, the transaction with some emerging countries, such as India and ASEAN nations, pleasantly climbed 16.6%, 9.7% and 4.5%, respectively, while deals with China's four major export partners, the E.U., Japan, Australia and the U.S., edged down 38.6%, 36.5%, 11.2% and 4.9%, respectively. At the 105th China Import and Export Fair, our company displayed a spring machine and a brush machine, which attracted the attention of buyers all over the world. They showed great interest in these two machines. Therefore, we gained a lot at the Fair. The second phase of 105th China Import and Export Fair will be held from April 24 to Apr. 28. Daily consumer products, gifts, household articles and decorations will be displayed.
